Decide how much Windows 2003 webspace you need to host your site.

FTP accounts
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) accounts allow you to upload and download content to your webspace. All accounts must include at least one FTP account.
You can upload your files using our FTP system at any time. We can also setup additional FTP accounts to access only certain folders in your webspace.

POP3 email accounts + WebMail support
Only pay for the number of POP3 email accounts that you need.
POP3 email accounts are mail boxes that collect email sent to your domain. With email software such as Outlook Express you are able to connect to these mailboxes and download any mail that has been collected by them. All POP3 email accounts include WebMail support which enables you to check, send and receive your email from any computer, anywhere in the World.
If you only require one POP3 account, it can be set up as a 'catch all' and will not only collect email for mail sent to that email address, but for also any other mail sent to the domain that does not have an appropriate email account or mail forwarder set up for it.

Mail Forwarders
Only pay for the number of mail forwarders that you need.
Mail forwarding accounts deal with email sent to your domain, however instead of storing the emails ready for you to download like POP3 email accounts, mail forwarders will automatically forward all email received to a different email address.

ASP server support
Run Active Server Pages on our servers. Using ASP you can integrate your Access databases into your website, send forms by email using CDONTS and allow users to upload files to your site from their web browser using ASP upload.

ASP.NET support
ASP.NET is the successor to Active Server Pages (ASP). Like ASP, it allows you to write dynamic, data-driven applications for your website but it also features server controls that can separate the code from the content, allowing WYSIWYG editing of pages.

ODBC DSN support
Open DataBase Connectivity (ODBC) Data Source Name's (DSN's) provide the ability to connect to databases using a common name rather than complex connection strings.

Personal CGI bin and Perl server support
Run your own CGI & Perl scripts on our servers and include Forms and Guestbooks etc. on your website.

Additional bandwidth
Bandwidth is the data transfer capacity we support for your website each Month.
A hosting package that provides 200 MB of bandwidth, or traffic, each month would be roughly enough to allow 5,000 separate page views of one 40 KB web page (40 KB x 5,000 = 200,000 KB = 200 MB).

Sub domains
Sub domains provide the means of setting up 3rd level domains that point to sub folders of this domain. For example for the domain 'domain.com' you can setup a sub domain http://subdomain.domain.com which will access the web files from the location http://www.domain.com/subdomain

Domain aliases
Domain aliases provide a means of having more than one domain name to reference the services that your main domain uses. Setting up a domain alias will mean that an alternative domain can be used to access this account. For example if you alias the domain 'domain.com' with 'anotherdomain.co.uk' then http://anotherdomain.co.uk/filename.htm would access the same file as http://domain.com/filename.htm

Domain name registration
We can register domain names for you, in your name, meaning that you are the legal owner of the domain name. You are free to transfer your domain away from our system at any time, and you will not be charged for this.
We currently support the following domain name extensions: .co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .com, .org, .net, .info and .biz
If you have already registered your domain name, you can still use SBW Hosting, just change your domain name's nameservers to direct your domain to our servers.
